Expansion of company headquarters in Cadolzburg
The extension to the Cadolto company headquarters, the Cadolto Forum II, is now completed. The new building, which is linked to the Cadolto Forum I by two corridors on the ground and first floors, will house the technical and housing technology departments with immediate effect.
With the expansion of its headquarters, Cadolto is responding to an immense growth in business, resulting in particular from the large order from the Russian Federation for the construction of 14 clinics throughout Russia. With a gross floor area of 1875 m2 the two-storey Cadolto Forum II is almost as big as the Cadolto Forum I. It features room for 62 workplaces and can be extended by a further 12 workplaces. A 225 m2 conference room is also included on the ground floor.
The new building is characterised by its modern feeling of vastness and transparency, and was designed by the Dürschinger architect company of Fürth. As with Cadolto Forum I, the building also stands out thanks to its harmonious colour concept. What is more, 900 m2 of roof greenery has been placed on top of the building. On the whole, the architecture acts an appropriate mirror of Cadolto’s work ethic: in other words, transparent, openly harmonious and at the same time down-to-earth, professional and sustainable.
Cadolto has created the Forum II with its well-known high-tech quality and speed. On 27 March 2008 an old production hall on the premises was torn down, on the 23 April the foundations were completed and as early as the 24 April, the first of 22 large capacity modules were lifted on. All work – including the set-up of a park-like, approx. 1,700 m2 green area - was able to be completed by the beginning of June.
