The largest project in the modular construction industry.
A big country. An even bigger project. The Russian Federation held an international call for tenders in order to find a builder for 11 high-tech medical centres. A mammoth task – so it was just right for Cadolto. This is how we beat the competition and completed eleven construction projects across the entire country – from Smolensk to Astrakhan and from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk – over a period of six years. We split it up into three areas: heart surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery.
In detail that meant three clinics per year, each with an average gross floor space of 16,000 m². A whole lot of wood. Or in our case, modules. Naturally, that called above all for masterly feats of logistics: first-class planning and preparatory work at Cadolto’s locations in Cadolzburg and Krölpa and at our licensed partners in Turkey and Russia. Every module was prefabricated here with the latest medical equipment and then transported by way of various marine routes to their destinations.
