Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Spital in Vienna

Hospital History - Cadolto writes the next chapter.

Within the framework of the partly new construction of one of the oldest hospitals in Vienna, we developed an interim rental solution for three highly specialised departments: First Aid (on one floor), Neurology (on one floor) and a four-floor medical department for infections and tropical medicine. This interim solution consists of 151 modules.

Cadolto started planning the construction project in Autumn 2011. An assignment which was to be carried out both in the shortest possible time and also in line with the latest technical standards. In other words, construction the Cadolto Way. In May 2012, only 5 months after the approval of the project plans, the new building comprising a gross floor area of 6,158m² had been constructed for the Kaiser-Franz-Josef Hospital in Vienna. Perfection in modular construction. A particular highlight is the lighting in the medical department. It ensures a bright and friendly interior. Good planning leaves simply nothing to chance.

With the completion of the new building, Cadolto was once again able to prove its ability to finalise construction projects quickly: A modern hospital building complete with infrastructure – ready for occupancy in less than half a year? That must be a record. And one that we’re proud of. And if the need should become more long-term, the rental period can, of course, be adapted flexibly at any moment. The individual rental period guarantees complete flexibility and security. We are happy that we laid the foundations for a new chapter in the history of the Kaiser-Franz-Josef hospital in Vienna. And for a further chapter in Cadolto’s successful history.
