Immediately after installation, the rest of the interior work on the new ward will begin
The realization of the new ward for child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy at the district hospital in Bayreuth is entering the next phase: On August 26, 2020, delivery of the 16 modules from the factory halls in Cadolzburg began. These will be transported to the Nordring 2 in Bayreuth by heavy goods vehicles.
Immediately after their arrival at the construction site, eight modules, which were
produced with a high degree of prefabrication, will be placed on the foundation with a crane over the next two days. The interior work will begin immediately afterwards.
Tatjana Zilke, Project Manager Cadolto Modulbau GmbH: “For us, the start of the installation is an important milestone in the course of the project. The new ward will make an important contribution to giving affected children and adolescents the best possible therapy. “
In the medical sector in particular, modular construction is an interesting alternative to conventional construction: the shorter the planning and construction time and the faster a building can be used today, the more economical it is for the client. Hospitals and clinics in particular can benefit from the shortening of planning and construction times with high-quality modular construction.
